Roofing in Dallas, TX

Our Dallas office serves DFW with the same standards we hold in Central Texas. Hail country demands it. Roof replacement, repair, storm damage, backed by a 15-year workmanship warranty.

Built in Dallas

Why Dallas trusts Nine Line Roofing.

Dallas sits in one of the most hail-prone metros in the United States. North Texas averages 5–8 named hail events per year, and a single one in the wrong neighborhood can trigger hundreds of insurance claims overnight. Most Dallas homes see a roof claim every 7–10 years whether the homeowner files it or not.

That weather environment has also produced a market full of storm-chasers: out-of-state outfits that show up in rented trucks after a hail event, sell roofs door-to-door, and disappear before warranty season. We were started in part as a response: a locally-owned, locally-insured, locally-warrantied alternative for DFW homeowners who want a roofer with a phone number that still works in five years.

Every Dallas-area install gets Class 4 impact-rated materials when budget allows, manufacturer-spec handling, and a 15-year workmanship warranty in writing. We pick up the phone.

Field Answers

Dallas roofing FAQs.

Are you actually based in Dallas?+

Yes. We have an established Dallas office and crews that live in DFW. Our roots are Central Texas (Killeen) but our Dallas operation has been ground-up. We don't sub-contract claims out.

How do I know if I have hail damage on my Dallas roof?+

Most hail damage isn't visible from the ground. Look for granule loss in gutter downspouts, dented soft metals (gutters, vents, AC fins), and circular bruises on shingles. We inspect for free after any DFW hail event.

Will my Dallas insurance cover a new roof?+

If you have hail or wind damage and a current policy, almost always yes. Texas insurance carriers underwrote the policy knowing DFW gets hail. We document the damage, write the scope of loss, and work with your adjuster on the claim from start to finish.

What's the difference between Nine Line and a storm-chaser?+

We're locally insured, locally warrantied, and locally answering the phone in five years. Storm-chasers operate on a permit-and-disappear model. The 15-year workmanship warranty we put in writing is only worth what the company behind it is worth.

Do you serve all of DFW or just Dallas proper?+

All of DFW within reason: North Dallas, Lake Highlands, Lakewood, Preston Hollow, and Plano are routine. Further-out suburbs (Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Arlington) on a case-by-case scheduling basis.
