Solar. Done with the roof.
We sell and install solar, and the smart move is to do it in the same project as a roof replacement. One crew, one schedule, panels on a roof that will outlast them.
Why pair solar with a new roof.
Solar is 25-year hardware. The roof underneath should be too.
Don't pay for the roof twice
Putting solar on an aging roof means paying to remove and reinstall the array when the roof needs replacing. New roof + solar means the panels live on a surface that will last as long as they do.
One project, one timeline
We do the roof and the solar in one coordinated install: same crew on-site, same schedule. Less disruption, lower combined labor cost.
Aligned warranties
Solar panels are warrantied 25+ years. A fresh roof underneath gives them a platform that lasts the same lifetime, instead of you paying to lift the array in year 12.
Clean install
Attachment points and conduit routing are planned during the roof, not drilled into the shingles after. Cleaner aesthetics, no patched penetrations, no leak risk.

Solar Roofing FAQs.
Do you actually install the solar?+
Yes. Nine Line sells and installs solar: panels, mounts, inverters, the works. Same crew that handles your roof.
Why pair solar with a roof replacement?+
Because solar panels last 25+ years and most roofs don't have that much life left. If we put solar on an old roof, you'll pay to remove and reinstall the array when the roof eventually needs replacing. Doing both together is the only install that makes economic sense long-term.
What if my roof is already new?+
Then solar alone is the right call. If your roof has 20+ years of service life left, we install the array on the existing roof with proper flashed attachments, with no warranty issues, no shortcuts.
Will solar void my roof warranty?+
Not when we install it. Attachment penetrations are properly flashed and integrated into the roof system. Anchoring directly through shingles without flashing IS a warranty issue. That's not how we do it.
Can I get one estimate for both?+
Yes. Request an estimate and mention you want solar. We'll quote the roof and the solar together so you have the full picture before you decide.
